Why a website?

I’ve been thinking about making a personal website for a while now. I’ve had a few ideas, but never really got around to it. For the last few months, I’ve been using Obsidian.md as a personal note-taking tool, and when I realized that Hugo can be used to generate static websites from markdown files, I decided to give it a try. So far, I’m really enjoying it. I’m also really enjoying the process of making this website, and I hope to keep it up to date.

Where did I get my Hugo theme?

I based this website off of Dann Berg’s website and accompanying theme. He also has a few articles on Obsidian templates that have helped me a lot, if you’re interested. Thanks Dann!
